The Longstanton stream
Description of the state of the stream up to the begining of August 2015
This stream runs across the fields on the west side of the village, between Bar Hill and Lolworth. It enters the village at the south west corner of the Trafalgar way industrial area. For a short way it is the boundry between Bar Hill and the farmland. It then turns east and for a short way flows through Parish land before entering the Domino site. After leaving the Domino site it runs close to the bridle path until it exits the village through a large culvert under the A14.
There is a ditch that carries water from the infiltration basin into the Longstanton stream joining close to A14 culvert (the A14 ditch).
